The group ZEROBASEONE makes a striking debut with their first mini album ‘YOUTH IN THE SHADE’ on July 11, 2023.
ZEROBASEONE, a 5th generation K-pop boy group, consists of multinational 9 members Sung Hanbin, Kim Jiwoong, Zhang Hao, Seok Matthew, Kim Taerae, Ricky, Kim Kyubin, Park Gunwook, and Han Yujin, selected by star creators from 184 countries and regions through Mnet’s ‘Boys Planet’.
The team name ‘ZEROBASEONE’ symbolizes the ‘brilliant start’ of the nine members evolving from zero (0) to one (1), and embodies the members' pledge to embark on a free journey from the incomplete 0 to 1 with their official fan club, ‘ZEROSE’.
Their first mini album ‘YOUTH IN THE SHADE’ encapsulates the essence of today's youth, reflecting both the beauty of radiant youth and its underlying instability. The debut album is released in two versions: the ‘YOUTH’ version, illustrating the more radiant appearance of ZEROBASEONE amidst profound darkness, and the ‘SHADE’ version, capturing the languid moments of the nine members under the stark sunlight enough to cast shadows.
