Description
The journey of heroes, that starting point at the unknown space '♭form' where they gather to extend a greeting towards a new world with 'Hello, world!'
The new song 'Test Me' sings a direct message with a strong unique tone over a fast beat, awakening the tastes of domestic and international listeners with an exhilarating band sound!
All six members of XH participated in writing and composing the title song and the first mini-album, offering the charm of a 'Z-generation representative band' with their musical potential and authenticity.
Xtraordinary Heroes made their debut on December 6, 2021, with their digital single 'Happy Death Day' and the title song of the same name, presenting a strong musical color and a unique worldview using the unknown space '♭form' to domestic and international listeners. Especially, the transformation from 'ordinary' boys to 'extraordinary' heroes at a glance stimulated curiosity towards the vast space and story Xtraordinary Heroes held.
The new album 'Hello, world!' illustrates the process of the six members, who lived their own lives, taking their first steps into '♭form' and gathering together, much like the first step in learning programming languages. Outsiders Gunil, Jeongsu, Gaon, O.de, Jun Han, and Juyeon meet on the online music platform '♭form,' where they can transform into heroes on stage, chasing new possibilities, marking the starting point of their journey.
The title song 'Test Me' is a rebellious message against those who force people, even if still incomplete, to fit into what's commonly referred to as 'the norm of the world.' The direct lyrics like "Do I seem lacking in some way, please mind your own business" combined with the fast beat and chromatic melody exude a strange yet appealing charm. Jeongsu, O.de, and Jun Han participated in the lyrics and composition, with the addition of star composer Shim Eunji and popular K-pop composer Lee Haesol.
Xtraordinary Heroes' first mini-album includes a total of six songs: the title song 'Test Me,' 'KNOCK DOWN,' 'Sucker Punch!,' 'Strawberry Cake,' 'Pirates,' and the instrumental version of 'Test Me.' From Gunil, a drummer and leader graduated from Berklee College of Music, to Jeongsu, Gaon, O.de, Jun Han, and Juyeon, all six members showcased their musical potential by contributing to the new record credits.
The 'Test Me' music video offers a variety of spectacles with its lavish band performance, neon signs, hacking devices, and system room props and spatial production. Dramatic music video stories, such as guerrilla ensemble performances in the subway or musical battles with cyborg players, enhance a special sense for the song, offering new stimulation and satisfaction to Generation Z.
Xtraordinary Heroes, the rookie heroes who transform 'ordinariness' into 'extraordinariness.' The stories they will newly present deliver exquisite empathy, and the sounds they will share anticipate the bold steps of a K-band representing Generation Z.
