The first full album [REVEAL], revealing various facets never shown before, is composed of tracks ranging from refreshing and bright to dark and charismatic songs, expanding the identity and spectrum of the boy depicted in these songs, completing The Boyz's ‘boys' music anthology’. Like the literal meaning of 'REVEAL' - to officially unveil - this album focuses on the previously unseen aspects, presenting the music and visuals of the 11 boys' infinite potential and growth, raising expectations to meet another 'real boy' showcased by 'the boys' who have been delivering diverse musical colors and charms with each album.
The regular album's title track ‘REVEAL’ is a song created by Sean Alexander and Drew Ryan Scott, who have worked on significant tracks like TWICE's ‘Heart Shaker’ and OH MY GIRL's ‘Secret Garden’. It is a song with a conceptual story in its lyrics and an addictive melody in a smooth yet strong sound. The title track ‘REVEAL’, symbolized by the ‘Wolfmoon’, expresses a boy's heart confessing to truly see his love when he hides his heart during the day and reveals his true self under the moonlight at night, comparing it to a wolf craving love in the moonlight. Moreover, the Wolfmoon signifies the first full moon of the new year, embodying The Boyz's ambition to shine brightly on the public as the first significant artist of 2020.
The Boyz's first full album features contributions from renowned K-pop composers such as Kenzie and Pop Time, and ballad powerhouse Monotree producer Lee Ju-hyung, completing the unique ‘boys' music anthology’.
