Group Stray Kids will make a comeback with the release of their new mini-album 'Cle 1 : MIROH' on March 25th.
Stray Kids, who made their debut on March 25th, 2018, through a debut showcase with their mini-album 'I am NOT' and its title track 'District 9', will release their new album 'Cle 1 : MIROH' on March 25th, 2019, marking their first anniversary.
The title track of 'Cle 1 : MIROH' is ‘MIROH'. Following their debut song 'District 9', the mini title tracks 'My Pace' in August, and 'I am YOU' in October, once again the in-house producing members 3RACHA’s Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han participated in the lyrics and composition, drawing attention.
The title track 'MIROH' expresses the ambition and boldness of the nine boys of Stray Kids, standing in a maze. The song reflects the members' greater belief in themselves and courage than fear of the maze.
In addition to 'MIROH', the new musical narrative of Stray Kids starts with the album 'Cle 1 : MIROH', including the opening track 'Entrance', the spell-like song '승전가' wishing for confidence and luck, '잠깐의 고요' narrating a moment of inner peace, 'Boxer' playfully and cheerfully expressing the cockiness of a boxer in the ring, 'Chronosaurus' singing about chasing dreams and time chasing oneself, '19' expressing the fearful and confusing emotions of crossing the boundary between nineteen and twenty, and the CD-exclusive track 'Mixtape#4' that holds Stray Kids' sincerity in believing in their chosen direction, totaling 8 tracks.
Composed of nine members - Bang Chan, Woojin, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N - Stray Kids have shown solid growth by participating in lyric and composition for all tracks of their debut mini-album 'I am NOT' as well as the August mini 'I am WHO', and October mini 'I am YOU'.
Having proven their expectation as '2018's Best New Artist', they were crowned 'Rookie of the Year 8 times' at various music award ceremonies. Recently, they have announced an additional performance in New York, fueled by their success in selling out all three shows of their showcase tour in the 'home of pop', the USA.
On May 15th (local time) in the USA, Stray Kids will hold showcases at the 'New Jersey Performing Arts Center' in New York, 'Pasadena Civic Auditorium' in LA on the 17th, and 'Revention Music Center' in Houston on the 19th. Tickets for these showcases opened on the 2nd and sold out within an hour.
Consequently, an additional showcase will be held on May 14th at the 'New Jersey Performing Arts Center' in New York, making a total of four performances in the USA. Starting from January 19th in Thailand, Stray Kids has been conducting their first overseas showcase tour 'UNVEIL TOUR 'I am...''. They completed shows in Jakarta on January 26th, in Melbourne and Sydney last month, and will continue in Manila on April 27th, and then three cities in the USA in May, showcasing their capacity as 'The Next Representative Group of K-Pop'.
The new album name ‘Cle 1 : MIROH' combines the French word 'Cle', meaning 'key', with 'MIROH'. As Stray Kids’ first album of 2019, it's intriguing to see what kind of musical page will be unfolded. The new mini-album and title track ‘MIROH' will be released on the 25th. Prior to this, Stray Kids will start a teasing project 'UNVEIL THE MIROH', releasing 'UNVEIL : TRACK' videos containing the sound of new songs in a relay from the 18th to the 25th, and on the 25th, they will launch into an online showcase commemorating the first anniversary of their debut and the release of the new album.
