Description

In the midst of cheering people, all I need is you. Oh my goddess, bring me victory.." The title track 'Fighter' is a 'song of hope' for boys who are frustrated and wounded. It reveals the 'courage' to willingly do anything for precious things, the 'attitude' of having nothing more to lose, and the 'will' to fight as one to protect those things. It's a story of reversal, depicting the desire to change the world a little more, the story of youth, and ultimately the facets of youth completed through pain. MONSTA X's 4th mini album 'THE CLAN 2.5 Part.2 GUILTY' portrays the paradoxical story of boys who have grown through pain such as poverty, loneliness, disabilities, inferiority complexes, violence, etc., and find purity within themselves.

This album, a sequel to 'Lost', unfolds MONSTA X's unique worldview more distinctly. Detailed production was employed for this purpose, including music videos that visually express drama themes and music, artwork, and teasers, all centered around the theme of 'wounded boys finding hope'. It's still a story of growth filled with youthful vigor of MONSTA X.

The music is as dynamic as 'Lost', centering around aggressive tracks pioneered by MONSTA X, and it's structured to highlight the multicultural charm by unraveling various emotions of love and separation in different ways. The experimental approach through the combination of disparate genres like hip-hop, EDM, and band sound is impressive, and it maximized auditory fun and excitement by combining hip-hop and EDM. Tracks that contain the fearless outcry of youth searching for an outlet deliver a strong impression.

The title track 'Fighter', created by composer Park Geun-tae and Martin Hoberg Hedegaard, is a blockbuster track where intense and rough sound harmonizes well with the message of protecting love. Especially, the grandeur that overwhelms with its powerful melody and straightforward lyrics crossing without a break is a unique strength of this song, fully conveying the exploding youth of the members.

The sincere and powerful music finally puts an exclamation mark through the music video. Following 'All In', which replaced the loss of 'boys with stories' with hope, this time hope is expressed more concretely. MONSTA X, which built a virtual world with ambiguous temporality in the video, philosophically unraveled the message the X-Clan intends to convey using color, items, and space. It expands the story where fearless kids face the world and protect their own purity.

The outcomes revealed through music, video, fashion, and artwork showcase the world of MONSTA X. Curiosity-provoking devices are placed throughout to encourage finding answers in contradictory situations. It's the endlessly expanding fourth story of MONSTA X.
