The artist (G)I-DLE, known for their unique concept execution and infinite potential, is releasing their third mini-album [I trust] after 9 months.

Following their debut album [I am], which proclaimed a definition of 'I' and 'us', and their second mini-album [I made], which showed their growth through self-producing, their third presentation [I trust] encapsulates the existence of belief starting from 'myself'. The album [I trust], meaning 'I believe in myself', expresses (G)I-DLE's confidence.

The title track 'Oh my god' is a song about realizing the need to believe in oneself after going through rejection, confusion, acceptance, and assertiveness from the collision with reality. It captures the theme 'I trust. Just believing in myself makes me confident.' It stands out with its bold rhythm changes in each progression of the Urban Hiphop genre song, led by a vintage piano sound and an 808 bass, creating a dreamy atmosphere with its strong sound.

The dynamic development of the sound is vividly reflected in the album's visual concept as well. The teaser images, resembling the figures of a devil and an angel, have sparked enthusiastic reactions from fans. Especially, the physical album of [I trust] is produced in two versions: the black-themed 'True Ver.' and the white-themed 'Lie Ver.', adding uniqueness. The definition of pure yet cruel love, which cannot be divided by the logic of black and white, leaves a strong message through the 'Oh my god' music video. The performance, seemingly expressing a confused self submerged in purple water and red mud, and scenes such as black body painting and blood flowing over the face, are boldly acted out, challenging attempts that are difficult for girl groups.
