In April 2023, DRIPPIN made a striking return with [SEVEN SINS], showcasing intense performances and a maturity within a well-crafted world. Now, after about a year, they are making a comeback with their fourth single album [Beautiful MAZE], which captures the representation of youth.
The single album [Beautiful MAZE] weaves various emotions of youth across multiple genres from the title track ‘Beautiful MAZE’, which likens love and separation to a labyrinth, to the refreshing and heart-fluttering ‘Get LOUD’, and ‘Black MIRROR’, which captures the inner struggle between the ‘self’ in the virtual and real worlds.
The title track ‘Beautiful MAZE’ is a NEW WAVE track based on Synth-POP sounds and UP-TEMPO rhythm, unraveling the pain of twisted love and inseparable emotions through the metaphor of a 'maze'. The track immediately immerses the listener with a nostalgic whistle and escalating Drum n Bass rhythm in its intro.
In the music video, the structural emotional territory of a maze sets the stage, portraying a story of growth through the processes of love and separation, eternity, and regret, akin to a game of tag, and the moments of escaping the shackles towards a new salvation are uniquely depicted in DRIPPIN's style.
The second track ‘Get LOUD’ is a Future-Funk style dance song with the charming sounds of Synthesizer and bouncy Slap-Bass, bringing to life the effervescent spirits of youth in love with its fresh lyrics.
The final third track, ‘Black MIRROR’, is a dance song with a kitschy Disco-Funk genre blended with powerful synth sounds, providing a well-crafted mood and aggressive groove with its strong attack of Kick and Snare in a simple structure.
