Cho Jung-seok received overwhelming love for his performance of the OST "Aloha" for the 2020 drama Hospital Playlist, dominating domestic music charts and winning several awards, including the "12th Melon Music Awards Genre Award for Best OST," "35th Golden Disc Awards Best OST," "30th High1 Seoul Music Awards Best OST," and "Mnet Asian Music Awards Best OST." With over 100 million cumulative streams, he solidified his status as a rising music star.
This September, Cho Jung-seok, now dubbed a ‘rookie singer,’ releases his debut album CHO JUNG SEOK, a full-length album that showcases his unique musical style and leaves a lasting impression on listeners.

As his debut and first full-length album, Cho Jung-seok adds a personal touch by taking part in writing, composing, and producing all the tracks. The album also features collaborations with legendary artists such as Gummy, Park Hyo-shin, and Dynamic Duo, making it even richer. Berry from the band Rocoberry, known for producing hits like Ailee's "I Will Go to You Like the First Snow" and Gummy's "Remember Me," also participated as a producer, enhancing the album's quality.
The title track "Champagne" is a blues-rock song that captures the exhilarating freedom and happiness that comes with a tipsy state. Cho Jung-seok’s deep emotional expression is especially evident in the lyrics, "You know, you’re already amazing just as you are," which highlight a hopeful message that "you are already enough, no matter the circumstances."
